William Edwin was born about 1896 in Goodrich Rd E Dulwich.1   William Edwin's father was Edwin STEER and his mother was Harriett Sophia STEER. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Alfred George, Albert John, Queenie Victoria and Edith Elsie Annie.  He was the oldest of the five children.
