Richd was born about 1856 in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey.1   Richd's father was Albert STEER and his mother was Jane STEER.  His paternal grandfather is <Unknown> and his paternal grandmother was Elizabeth STEER. He had a brother and a sister, named William and Clara J.  He was the second oldest of the three children.
