James Harris was born about 1890 in Bovey Tracey Devon.1   James Harris' father was John STEER and his mother was Julia STEER. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Wm Walter, John Charles, Alfred Davis, Edwd Fredck, Frances Mary and Lilly Elizabeth.  He was the youngest of the seven children.
