James Albert was born about 1896 in Saddleworth, Yorkshire.1   James Albert's father was Philip STEER and his mother was Mary Jane STEER. He had five sisters named Eliza, Mary Ann, Alice, Agnes and Tely.  He was the second youngest of the six children.
