Henry was born in 1820 in Marylebone, London, Middlesex..1 Henry's father was Thomas STEER and his mother was Mary COX. His paternal grandparents were Thomas STEER and Elizabeth COOKE. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Thomas George, Richard, Mary Ann, Sarah, Elizabeth and Hannah. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.General Notes
