Eva Elizabeth was born about 1890 in Torquay, Devonshire.1   Eva Elizabeth's father was Alexander Harris STEER and her mother was Elizabeth STEER.  Her paternal grandparents are Steer and <Unknown>. She had a brother and a sister, named Alexander William and Florence.  She was the youngest of the three children.
