Emma Edith was born about 1871 in Llanfwrog, Denbighshire, Wales.1   Emma Edith's father was John STEER and her mother was Ellen STEER. She had two brothers and a sister, named Edwin Henry, Robert Ernest and Elizabeth Kate.  She was the second youngest of the four children.
