Emily C was born about 1881 in Croydon Surrey.1   Emily C's father was Thomas STEER and her mother was Sarah A STEER. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas G, George E, John, Lizzie, Sarah A and Lily E.  She was the third oldest of the seven children.
