Edith B was born about 1873 in Swansea, Glamorganshire.¹ Edith B's father was Thomas STEER and her mother was Jane STEER. She had a brother and four sisters, named Albert Hy, Albina J, Alice M, Elizabeth and Albina B. She was the second oldest of the six children.
