Albina J was born about 1863 in Swansea, Glamorganshire.1   Albina J's father was Thomas STEER and her mother was Jane STEER. She had a brother and four sisters, named Albert Hy, Edith B, Alice M, Elizabeth and Albina B.  She was the oldest of the six children.
