Alfred G was born about 1876 in Greenwich Kent.1   Alfred G's father was Steer and his mother was Eliza STEER.  His maternal grandfather is <Unknown> and his maternal grandmother was Mary WALLER. He had five brothers and a sister, named James, William H, Sidney J, Henry G, Arthur E and Mabel A.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
