Rosa C was born about 1880 in Hollingbourn, Kent.1   Rosa C's father was Benjamin STEARS and her mother was Ann STEARS. She had a brother and four sisters, named Arthur, Lavinia E, Amelia R, Susannah J and Laura R.  She was the youngest of the six children.
