Evelina was born about 1879 in Woodhouse Mill Yorks.1   Evelina's father was Thomas STEAR and her mother was Elizabeth STEAR. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Vivian, Helena and Alice.  She was the second oldest of the five children.
