Hannah was born on January 19th, 1721.1   Hannah's father was Thomas Goad and her mother was Elizabeth Crosfield.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Goad and Hannah Atkinson. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, Agnes, Elizabeth and Mary.  She was the third oldest of the six children.
