Hannah was born on December 17th, 1708.1   Hannah's father was Joseph Goad and her mother was Hannah Atkinson.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Goad and Alice. She had seven brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Joseph, Richard, Robert, Benjamin, John, Isaac and Mary.  She was the youngest of the nine children.

Hannah and William were married in a religious ceremony on March 12th, 1733 in Swarthmoor.1
