Elizabeth was born in 1822 in Edinburgh.1  Elizabeth's father was Sir Thomas Bradford and her mother was Mary Ann Atkinson.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Bradford and Elizabeth Otter. She had two brothers and two sisters, named James, Ralph, Georgiana and Barbara.  She was the second oldest of the five children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Charles and Mary.  She died at the age of 84 on November 2nd, 1906 in Sherceroft Botley Hants.2 




Elizabeth's family

Elizabeth and Henry were married in a religious ceremony on April 13th, 1847 in St. Paul's Knightsbridge by Reverend W. Bradford.3  They had four sons and two daughters, named Edward, Henry, Gerald, Ralph, Julia and Elizth.
