Rachel Simpson

Rachel was born in 1821 in Yorkshire.¹   Rachel's father was William Simpson and her mother was Rebekah Rack.  Her paternal grandparents were William Simpson and Rachel; her maternal grandparents were William Rack (of Brocklesby) and Sarah Mumby (of Keelby). She had four brothers and four sisters, named George, James, John, George, Sarah, Rebecca, Diana and Jane.  She was the third oldest of the nine children. She had a half-brother named Thomas.  She died at the age of 34 in 1855 in Lossiemouth.
