Mary Potter

Mary was born on March 20th, 1825 in Holme next the sea and her baptism took place on August 21st, 1825.¹

Mary's father was John Potter and her mother was Ann Calaby.  Her paternal grandparents were Willm. Potter and Alice Thacker; her maternal grandparents were John Callaby and Ann Holmes. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Charles, Francis, Alice, Elizabeth, Jane, Ann and Susan.  She was the second oldest of the nine children.
