Michael's father was WM. LITZ OR LETTS and his mother was Mary Best.  His paternal grandfather is <Unknown> and his paternal grandmother was Anne Blanchard; his maternal grandparents were William Best and Mary. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, WILLIAM, EDWARD, RICHARD, MARY, AMY, FANNY and SARAH.  He died in 1847.  He was buried on June 8th, 1847 in Croydon All Saints.¹
