James Letts 
James was born on January 24th, 1808 and his baptism took place on March 20th, 1808 in
St John Baptist, Croydon.

Michael Letts and his mother was
Lucy Apted. His paternal grandparents were
WM. LITZ OR LETTS and
Mary Best. He had two brothers and five sisters, named
Michael,
William,
Hannah,
Frances,
Lucy,
Amy and
Sarah. He died at the age of 28 in 1836. The funeral took place on December 12th, 1836 in
Croydon All Saints.
