Catherine's father was Robert Darney and her mother was Elinor (Elene Eline Helene) Durswell. She had a brother and three sisters, named Thomas, Elisabethe, Johane and Marie.  She was the youngest of the five children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Arthur, Sarah and Rebecca.  She died at the age of 6 in 1602.  She was buried on May 15th, 1602 in North Nibley, Gloucester.¹
