Dorothea (Dorie) Elizabeth Winterbach 
Dorothea, known as Dorie, was born on July 28th, 1906 in Enkeldoorn, Lydenburg.1 Dorie's father was Dirk Jacobus Winterbach and her mother was Maria Magdalena Hougaard. Her paternal grandparents were Dirk Jacobus Winterbach and Hester Francina Elizabetha Verster. She had nine brothers and three sisters, named noname, Rooi Dirk, Christiaan, Johan, Piet, Izak, Jan, Kosie, Theo, Anna, Hettie and Miemie. She died at the age of 88 on October 2nd, 1994 in Lydenburg. She was buried in Barberton.2 2 -
