Dirk Jacobus Winterbach 
Dirk was born on May 7th, 1889. Dirk's father was Jacobus (Koos) Petrus Johannes Winterbach and his mother was Christina (Chrissie) Willemina Hougaard. His paternal grandparents were Dirk Jacobus Winterbach and Hester Francina Elizabetha Verster. He had a brother and two sisters, named Chris, Anna and Hester. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 86 on May 12th, 1975. He was buried in Lydenburg old cemetery.1 -
