Robert Enoch was born on September 17th, 1845 in Stisted, Essex and his baptism took place on November 9th, 1845 in Stisted.1  Robert Enoch's father was John TOBIAS and his mother was Mary Ann PEARCE.  His paternal grandparents were Daniel TOBIAS and Elizabeth WAKEFIELD. He had five brothers and a sister, named William Cain, Abel James, Seth George, Charles Enos, Arthur and Susan.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 90 on January 27th, 1936 in Wangaratta.  He was buried in Wangaratta Cemetery.2
