William Roy was born in 1903 in Kensington Hill.1  William Roy's father was William Robert PROSSER and his mother was Matilda LANE.  His maternal grandfather is Thomas LANE and his maternal grandmother was Emma Jane TAYLOR. He had a brother and four sisters, named William Raymond Haigh, Phylis Maud Matda, Iris Isabel Lillian, Lillian Mavis and Beryl Norma.  He was the second oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 1 in 1904 in Fitzroy Nth.2
