Margaret Theresa was born in 1901 in Eaglehawk.1  Margaret Theresa's father was George Sidney MERITON and her mother was Isabella Agnes BOLGER.  Her paternal grandparents are George Sidney MERITON and Mary Grace BABBAGE; her maternal grandfather was Kyvan Somers BOLGER and her maternal grandmother is Elizabeth LAWLESS. She had a brother and two sisters, named William Alfred, Louisa Alice and Mary Grace.  She was the youngest of the four children.
