Sarah Ann was born in 1852 in Beechworh. Sarah Ann's father was William FAULKNER and her mother was Ellen Anne SWAN.  Her paternal grandparents were William FAULKNER and Sarah Ann KELLY; her maternal grandparents were John SWAN and Ann BROWNLEIGH. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William, Thomas, Andrew Ross, Ellen Jane and Catherine Mary.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 81 on April 14th, 1933 in Bright.
