Robert SILK 
Robert was born on March 8th, 1746 in Dry Drayton. Robert's father was Thomas SILK and his mother was Rose SMITH. His paternal grandparents were William SILK and Rose HINKIN; his maternal grandparents were Abraham SMITH and Susanna HEYLOCK. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William, Thomas, James, Benjamin, John, Ann, Rose and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 42 in 1788.-
