Mary Jane SEWELL 
Mary was born in 1855 in Thorpe Morieux and her baptism took place there on December 25th, 1855. Mary's father was Edward SEWELL and her mother was Ann BIRD. Her maternal grandparents were Isaac BIRD and Susan GRIDLEY. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Edward, Edward, Albert, John, Edward, Eliza and Alice. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She had two half-brothers named Henry and James.-
