Robert was born on June 17th, 1759. Robert's father was Richard MORTLOCK and his mother was Elizabeth RAY. His paternal grandparents were Richard MORTLOCK and Elizabeth. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Richard, John, Peter, Samuel, William, Mary, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the nine children.-
