Frank MORTLOCK 
Frank was born on October 11th, 1876 in Bishop's Hall Mill.1 Frank's father was William MORTLOCK and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Fanny BARKER. His paternal grandparents were William MORTLOCK and Mary Ann BARNES; his maternal grandparents were Samuel BARKER and Elizabeth. He had six brothers and six sisters, named George, Walter, Albert, Edgar, Frederick, Percy, Lily, Minnie, Alice, Ada, Eva and Ethel. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. He died due to kidney failure, Chronic Nephritis, at the age of 65 on May 11th, 1942 in North Middlesex County Hospital.-

From 1898 to 1901 Frank's occupation was Baker (Pastrycook) full time in accommodation and food services in Rochford.
