Florence was born in 1896 in Bow.  Florence's father was Walter F MORTLOCK and her mother was Alice BLISS.  Her paternal grandparents were Phillip MORTLOCK and Elizabeth NUNN. She had two brothers and a sister, named George, Walter and Lily.  She was the second oldest of the four children.
