Violet was born in 1900 in Stamford Hill. Violet's father was Alfred GIDDINGS and her mother was Ada COOPER. Her maternal grandparents were John COOPER and Sarah WILKINS. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Arthur, George, Mabel, Elizabeth, Ada, Ellen, Daisy and Elsie. Violet and Elsie were twins.-
