Jane BIRD 
Jane was born on January 18th, 1872 in Thorpe Morieux and her baptism took place there on March 31st, 1872. Jane's father was John BIRD and her mother was Ellen ROPER. Her paternal grandparents were John BIRD and Lydia WHITTLE; her maternal grandparents were Samuel ROPER and Lydia Seeley LAMBERT. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Henry, Samuel, William, Charles, Alfred, Alexander, Rachel, Deborah and Julia. She was the third youngest of the eleven children.-
