Amy was born in March 1883 in Macclesfield.1  Amy's father was Geoge Booth Worth and her mother was Ann (Fanny) Brereton.  Her maternal grandparents were Charles Brereton and Mary Jones. She had two brothers and a sister, named George, Herbert and Eunice.  She was the second youngest of the four known children.  She died at the age of 57 in 1940.
