Maria was born in November 1809 in Ness and her baptism took place on November 12th, 1809 in Neston.1  Maria's father was Thomas Williams and her mother was Mary Woodworth.  Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Woodworth and Alice Dobb. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, Alice and Mary.  She was the third oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 65 in August 1875 in the Wirral.2 



Maria's family with Richard Robinson

‌Maria and Richard were married in a religious ceremony on December 31st, 1831 in Neston by John Husband and witnessed by William Cartwright & John Haswell.1  They had a son and three daughters, named Richard, Mary, Elizabeth and Maria.
