Sarah was born in 1824 in Cheshire and her baptism took place before December 3rd, 1826 in Broxton.1 2  Sarah's father was Thomas Warburton and her mother was Jane.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Warburton and Sarah Dod. She had a sister named Anne.  She was the older of the two known children.
