Richard was born in 1794.  Richard's father was <unknown> and his mother was Ann Timmis.  His maternal grandparents were Richard Timmis and Mary Hall.  He died at the age of 70 on September 18th, 1864 in Burslem.1

‌Richard and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony on November 27th, 1815 in Wolstanton.  They had a son named William.
