Josiah Timmis

Josiah was born in June 1767 in Keele and his baptism took place on August 2nd, 1767 in Staffordshire.¹

Josiah's father was Joseph Timmis and his mother was <unknown>. He was an only child. He died at the age of 80 in January 1848 in Newcastle-under-Lyme. His burial was on January 29th, 1848 in Keele.¹²

- Josiah was a Farmer in Keele all his life. Josiah was still in Staffs when he died in 1848, leaving a Will. The burial record shows he was 80 years, so the son of Joseph Timmis (not Richard which must be another).
  
  Another Josiah is recorded as a Slate dealer at 4 Waterloo Road, Liverpool in the trade directories, who died 10 years earlier.
