Susanna Sykes

Susanna was born in 1719 in Slaithwaite and her christening took place there on February 7th, 1719.¹

Susanna's father was Edmund Sykes and her mother was Elizabeth Wood.  Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Sykes and Mrs Benjamin Sykes. She had a brother and a sister, named Joseph and Sara.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died as an infant at the age of 2 in 1721 in Slaithwaite.  She was buried on July 31st, 1721 in Slaithwaite.^1 1
