In 1867 (like his mother), Robert's wife Mary died soon after giving birth to Margaret. It appeard daughter Margaret also died (but death registered at Halliwell).
In 1871, Robert (33) and daughter Mary E (7) were living with his father at 183 Back Lane, Little Bolton.
Robert died in 1879, aged 41.
