Isaac was born in July 1826 in Manchester and his baptism took place on July 30th, 1826 at St. Peter's (Bolton).1  Isaac's father was Edward Stott and his mother was Mary Entwistle. He had three sisters named Sarah, Mary and Ann.  He was the youngest of the four children.
