Emanuel Stocks

Emanuel was born in 1716 in Kirkheaton and his baptism took place there on June 24th, 1716.¹

- Only Emmanuel baptism on record, and its a match for kirkheaton, so although this seems a little early, Emanual married when he was about 29.

Emanuel's father was Joshua Stocks and his mother was Elizabeth Bingley. He had a brother and two sisters, named Joshua, Mary and Mary. He was the third oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 63 in 1779 in Gawthorpe. His burial was on December 19th, 1778 in Kirkheaton.¹¹
