Elizabeth Stevens (Stephens)

Elizabeth was born in 1826 in Bucks.¹

- Elizabeth was 15 in 1841 (rounded), not from Lancashire
  
  Elizabeth was a minor when she married in 1825
  
  Aged 24 in 1851, born Bredlow, Buckinghamshire

Elizabeth's father was Joseph Stevens and her mother was Martha Stevens. She had six brothers named William, John, Eden, Thomas, Henry and Richard. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.

- Stevens when married in 1845, but Stephens when the childrens births were registered (1845-46)
  
  In 1841, Elizabeth was a Bedford Row, Egerton, Turton with her parents Joseph and Martha and 5 siblings. The census suggests she may have had a brother William married to Charlotte with a daughter Elizabeth Stevens (2mo). The family were not from Lancashire.
  
  By 1851, Elizabeth Mather, 25 was a Widow, living with her mother Martha. She had no children.
  
  In 1861, Elizabeth had married James Rothwell, and they had a daughter Elizabeth (3). They were living with Elizabeth's mother at 236 Halliwell Road, Little Bolton.
