Catherine Smith

Catherine was born in 1826 in Bingley.¹ Catherine's father was Edward Smith and her mother was Mary Hodgson. She had a brother and a sister, named Edwin and Ann. She was the oldest of the three known children.

General Notes
- In 1841, Catherine (15) and Ann Smith (12) were Worsted Weavers, living at Royd Field with John Greenwood (35) and William, Thomas and George Smith (6,2,& 3mo). Their parents (Edward and Mary) and brother Edwin (aged 9) were at Royd House.
