Catherine Smith 
Catherine was born in 1826 in Bingley.1 Catherine's father was Edward Smith and her mother was Mary Hodgson. She had a brother and a sister, named Edwin and Ann. She was the oldest of the three known children.General Notes
In 1841, Catherine (15) and Ann Smith (12) were Worsted Weavers, living at Royd Field with John Greenwood (35) and William, Thomas and George Smith (6,2,& 3mo). Their parents (Edward and Mary) and brother Edwin (aged 9) were at Royd House.
