9 Oct 1815 Elizabeth Shone married Richard Hopley. However, the 1838 birth registration for Joseph shoes the MMN as WHITEACER (or maybe Whittaker). Therefore, an 11y older Elizabeth may have been a widow when she married Richard.
In 1841, Richard and Elizabeth (47 & 58) were at Waightel Cottage, Malpas with Thomas (20), Elizabeth (17), Sarah (14), Jane (12), George (10), Samuel (5), and Joseph (3)
In 1851, Elizabeth (63) was living with her daughter Sarah (26), Joseph (11) and Thomas (1)
