John Sherlock

John was born in 1890 in West Derby.¹

He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Samuel, Henry, Richard, Lydia, Mary, Alice and Adeline. He was adopted by Samuel Sherlock & Lydia Eddowes. John is no longer alive.

General Notes
- Both parents died in 1890, soon after John was born. It also seems John was not the son of Lydia, as no birth registered with EDDOWES as the mother.
  
  Richard and baby brother John (aged 1) were paupers, in a home in Fazakerley, Everton in 1891, after both his parents died.
  
  He was probably adopted, as no matching death record for a child in Lancashire in that decade.
