Harriett's father was James Rogers and her mother was Jane Tomlinson.  Her maternal grandparents were Randle Tomlinson and Anne Tinsley. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, John, Elizabeth and Ann.  She was the third oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 7 in August 1812 in Wrexham.  She was buried on August 19th, 1812 in Wrexham.¹
