John Roberts

John was born on October 17th, 1809 in Shotton.¹   John's father was Edward Roberts and his mother was Elizabeth Jones. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Thomas, Edward, Samuel, Mary, Elizabeth, Jane and Anne.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 54 in 1863.
