Charles was born in December 1888 in Manchester.1  Charles' father was Charles Harrison Richardson and his mother was Mary Ann Johnson.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Buchan (Richardson) and Catherine Harrison. He had a brother and a sister, named Charles and Florence.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died as an infant in December 1888 in Manchester.1
